We encourage all patients to take advantage of our online services which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply register for online services with the receptionist at the surgery and thereafter you can order repeat medication online at any time to suit you and book appointments with the opportunity to see what is available.
We respectfully advise parents of young people that there are age limits relating to online services after which young patients must have their own log-in and password. Access to detailed coded records via a parental “proxy” log-in ceases on the day before a child’s 12th birthday. Access for appointment booking and the ordering of medication continues to be available until the patient reaches 16.
We disable access to all online services for all young people on their 16th birthday and from this date they need to register in their own right for online service access. Photo ID is required in person– passport, school or bus ID card when the receptionist will confirm your ID. Should a parent/carer wish to access the online medical record of a young person aged 12 to 15 a formal request must be made and these will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the GPs.
