New Patient Registration

Non-urgent advice: We welcome new patients who live within our practice area

We have an open list and welcome requests for registration from patients living in or moving to the practice area (if you wish to check that you live within the practice area, please check on the Practice boundary map below)

Catchment Area

It can take sometime for records to be received from your former practice so all new patients are asked to complete a registration form, medical and alcohol consumption questionnaires and sharing consent form prior to registration at the practice. These are available from our reception and can also be downloaded from this page.

Patients on repeat medication will usually need to speak a doctor before getting their first prescription. An appointment will be offered as appropriate. We advise patients who wish to register with us to obtain one month’s supply of repeat medication from their current GP before registering with Brig Royd Surgery to ensure a smooth handover. Medical treatment is available from the date of registration

For online access wherever possible please provide a form of ID such as driving license, passport or utility bill, bank statement etc.
