The team at Brig Royd has been providing high quality care for patients in the Ripponden and surrounding area for many years. In 2009 we moved to a large purpose built surgery in the centre of Ripponden which allows us to offer a wide range of services to our patients.
The practice GPs have a wide range of specialist clinical interests. We have three male Doctors – Drs. Bhatti, Hussain and Raymond and five female Doctors, Drs Pickles, Greasley, Dr. Freeda Bhatti, Drs Gayle and Iroegbu.
Appointments can be made by calling at the surgery, telephoning 01422 822209 between 8.00am & 6.30pm weekdays, or booking on-line.
The surgery premises have suitable access for disabled patients. We are situated some 200 meters from the village centre. We have a portable induction loop to assist patients with a hearing impairment.
Brig Royd is a training practice and you may be offered an appointment with a GP registrar or nurse. A GP registrar is a fully qualified doctor who is gaining experience in General Practice before looking for a practice of their own. Medical Students and Nurses sometimes train here as part of their extended role.
PARKING: Access is needed at all times for emergencies so please park in the designated patient parking spaces. We have two spaces marked out for the disabled. Please do not park on the double-yellow lines to ensure your safety and that of others.
