Pennine GP Alliance run the Spirometry Assessment Hubs in Calderdale for our patients who present with symptoms of breathlessness and/or a persistent cough.
Pennine GP Alliance run the Acute Respiratory Infection Hubs in Calderdale for our patients who present with flu or cold-like symptoms. This means you could get an urgent same day appointment.
The GP will assess patients as suitable for the service and will arrange the visit for the same day ensuring a timely response to acute medical problems.
We have paramedics and other clinicians who have the full support of our GPs.
First contact clinics for adults and children can be booked for variety of lower limb and foot problems.

FCP’s work within our GP surgery as a first point of contact to patients with joint, spinal back and neck pain; also, possible problems with muscles ligaments or sports injuries to name a few. FCP will assess and diagnose, then refer to appropriate departments if appropriate. Assessment and diagnosis service but will also task clinicians for suitable medication if needed.
Pharmacists and Pharmacist Technicians work similarly to deliver a stream of valuable services such as medication reviews and reconciliations. Dealing with enquiries from colleagues and other Health Care Professionals and Supporting the Team and signing off prescriptions.
Care Coordinators help with deliver a wide variety of personalised care for patients such as offering suitable services such as weight management, promoting screening services also they are the first point of contact for our care homes.
