The major advantage of online requesting is that you can do it anytime – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – and you are not limited to our opening hours.
Please therefore either request your prescription:
1. Online via prescriptions – please register with the receptionist for access to our online service. You need to provide photographic ID when registering.
2. In writing using the request slip to the right of your repeat prescription. You can drop this off or post it. Please enclose an SAE if you wish us to mail your prescription back to you.
Requests received online or in writing by 10am will be available after 4pm that day. Online or written requests received after 10am will be available after 4pm the next day. The online system – which is hosed on our behalf by SystmOnline – advises that prescriptions will be ready in 72 hours. We do better than this but we are unable to amend the standard SystmOnline wording. Times are as above.
If you really can’t use another method please only request your repeat prescription over the phone between 10am and 12noon. Requests will not be taken outside these times. Prescriptions requested over the telephone will be available after 4pm the following day.
Patients on repeat prescriptions will require a surgery consultation with a doctor or nurse from time to time.
These changes have been discussed in detail with and supported by the Brig Royd Surgery Patient Group.
